Traveling to India with children is a challenge. Nevertheless these beautiful beaches and the great food were better than expected.

The Galapagos archipel consists of many different volcanic islands. Some years ago it wasn’t easily possible to visit them, but now it is. See iguanas, sealions and pelicans, sharks and turtles without destroying the nature.
A motorhome became our constant hotel with the advantage of exploring both islands. In the nature and always on the road, like here on the Ninety Mile Beach. Unbelievable light unbearable without sunglasses.
Not only for backpackers but also for families is Thailand a good way to step into Asia. Very good infrastructure, shopping possibilities and healthy food made us adore and surely come back.
A mixture of Indian, Chinese and African culture makes Mauritius an interesting destination. Mountains combined with the reef surrounded bathtub gives everybody enough possibilities to relax.
Untouched nature gives an impression of the real Africa. Colourful pictures, extremely friendly locals and fantastic Zebu-steaks.
Stunning white beaches. Colourful fishes, coconuts and rum. Spectacular scenery and a lot of time for ourselves.
Nature, tasty food, unknown fruits and quite relaxed people are combined in Thailand.

It was an enjoyable time and we learned a lot about different cultures, our own limitations and the new horizon travelling creates. Some families homeschool their […]
Many tourists don’t visit the east coast Mauritius unless they stay in a hotel there. During my 6 month residency in Mauritius the east coast was one of my favourites with my children. Why? Snorkeling is fantastic! If you go to the beach right before Trou d’Eau Douce there’s one small lagoon after another. Many […]
Barbara is a mother of two daughters. She loves travelling and exploring new countries. To be close to the nature and the locals is her approach, therefore she's not keen on staying at hotels but likes individual tours. With a huge caravan she explored Europe and has a lot of experience in travelling with young kids. Her husband manages his company from all over the world with his laptop on his knees. For him the Internet connection is a main point.
